In 2018, we both swiped right and matched on Tinder!!

After some messaging and phone calls, we met in Fullerton at an escape room! We had a blast and continued the evening at a nearby restaurant for dinner.

While we hit it off from the start, our schedules didn't quite align due to both of us working, going to school, and Eugene taking care of Amara nearly full time. We decided to go our separate ways and a very eventful year later, in 2019, Eugene slid into my DMs and asked to go snowboarding.

We connected again and eventually fell in love. In February of 2020, Eugene, Amara and I moved in together. You can guess what happened next...not only did COVID hit but I began my journey as an instant bonus mom.

While it has been quite a journey, I am more thankful than I could ever imagine for Eugene, Amara and Jonathan for making me a bonus mom. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. We are so proud of Amara and the young woman she has become.

In 2024, Eugene completely surprised me in Las Vegas with the most beautiful proposal in front of a group of our loved ones! I think I said "of course!" through my happy tears.

Now here we are, planning our destination wedding in Barbardos! I know the day is going to be an absolute dream and I am counting the seconds until we say "I do!"
